DAILY INSTRUCTIONS
WAKING ROUTINE (6:00am – 7:00am)
- Brush your teeth and scrape your tongue 15 TIMES.
- Practice oil pulling by swishing 1-2 tablespoons of a mint scented oil in the mouth for 3-15 minutes. (Oil pulling removes toxins from the mouth and naturally makes the teeth whiter.)
- Add Nasya oil drops to the opened nasal passages after the hot bath and breath in deeply 5 breathes per nostril. (To apply the drops the head can rest on an elevated cushion, or the edge of a mattress, but the head must be leaning backwards for the Nasya oil to penetrate the nasal cavity and central nervous system.)
- Administer an oil massage on yourself (while you swish the oil in your mouth) and make sure to focus special attention on the joints with round circular motions. Massage with oil PRIOR to taking a shower.
- Practice gentle stretching and yoga postures specific to your dosha/ body type.
